Pretzel Salad - Heather Baria
1st Mixture - Mix this and press into 9x13" pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely.
1 1/4 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
2nd Mixture - Cream these ingredients well and spread over cooled pretzel layer.
8 oz. cream cheese (light is OK)
9 oz. cool whip (light is OK)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3rd Mixture - combine these ingredients and allow to partly set. Then pour over 2nd mixture to make the 3rd layer.
6 oz. strawberry jello (sugar free is OK)
2 c. hot water
16 oz. bag frozen strawberries
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
Allow to set overnight. When serving, use large serrated knife and make sure to slice down through the pretzel layer. Use spatula to make sure all layers are removed with each piece.
